NOTICE OF MEETING
SEWAGE COMMISSION
Tuesday, June 14, 2022
Civic Room, located at 770 Harmston Avenue, Courtenay, BC commencing at 12:45 pm.

The chair of the commission will preside over the meeting according to the CVRD procedure bylaw. This meeting may include participation by members of the commission via electronic communication.

This meeting is not meant for general public input. If members of the public wish to speak at a meeting, they should contact the CVRD Legislative Services Department to request to appear as a delegation. Live webcasts and recordings are available at www.comoxvalleyrd.ca/minutes-agendas

All commission motions will be voted on as determined under Bylaw No. 650.

2) SEWER EXTENSION SOUTH LIQUID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN ADDENDUM PROPOSAL
 
Report dated June 9, 2022 regarding a proposal to further develop the Sewer Extension South Project via an addendum to the Comox Valley Sewerage Service Liquid Waste Management Plan for receipt. [Item] 
 
Recommendation:
 
THAT the Sewage Commission support the development of the Sewer Extension South Project via an addendum to the Comox Valley Sewerage Service Liquid Waste Management Plan;

AND FURTHER THAT the Sewer Extension South Addendum joint public and technical advisory committee, once convened, be requested to appoint a member to the Comox Valley Sewerage Service Liquid Waste Management Plan Joint Technical and Public Advisory Committees;

AND FINALLY THAT the Electoral Area A Director be appointed to the Comox Valley Sewerage Service Liquid Waste Management Plan steering committee (Comox Valley Sewage Commission) for matters pertaining to the Sewer Extension South Addendum.
