Civic Room, 770 Harmston Avenue, Courtenay, BC commencing at 10:00 am.

The chair of the committee will preside over the meeting according to the CVRD procedure bylaw. This meeting may include participation by members of the committee via electronic communication.

This meeting is not meant for general public input. If members of the public wish to speak at a meeting, they should contact the CVRD Legislative Services Department to request to appear as a delegation. Live webcasts and recordings are available at www.comoxvalleyrd.ca/minutes-agendas

1) ELECTORAL AREA B - ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT RZ 1B 21 – 1334 AND 1338 HUDSON ROAD (MCQUEEN)
 
Report dated February 8, 2023 regarding comments received from First Nations and external agencies, and to recommend first and second reading to draft Bylaw No. 740, to use Section 514 of the Local Government Act (RSBC, 2015, c. 1) (LGA), to subdivide the subject property, and to authorize that a public hearing be held for the rezoning application RZ1B21 - 1334 and 1338 Hudson Road (McQueen). THAT the Board give first and second reading to Bylaw No. 740, being the “Rural Comox Valley Zoning Bylaw, 2019, Amendment No. 11” which rezones Lot 2, District Lot 205, Comox District, Plan VIP52063, PID 017-168-309 (1334 and 1338 Hudson Road, McQueen) from Country Residential One to Residential One Exception 14, to use Section 514 of the Local Government Act (RSBC, 2015, c. 1) to enable a two-lot subdivision;
