| Civic Room, located at 770 Harmston Avenue, Courtenay, BC commencing at 3:00 pm. The chair of the committee will preside over the meeting according to the CVRD procedure bylaw. This meeting may include participation by members of the committee via electronic communication. This meeting is not meant for general public input. If members of the public wish to speak at a meeting, they should contact the CVRD Legislative Services Department to request to appear as a delegation. Recommendation #1: | ||||||
THAT the Comox Valley Water Committee approve the Royston Water Local Service Area obtaining water from the Comox Valley water supply system as per Bylaw No. 1783 being “Water Local Service Establishment Bylaw, 1995.” | ||||||
Recommendation #2: | ||||||
THAT the Comox Valley Water Committee allow for the repayment of the Comox Valley Water System Capital Improvement Cost Charge over a 10-year period, with interest, to reduce the upfront financial burden on the Royston Water Local Service Area. | ||||||

Report dated May 5, 2023 regarding proposed amendments to the water conservation bylaw to ease communication, and minimize instances of non-compliance watering, while maintaining water conservation objectives for receipt. [Item] | ||||||

THAT the board amend Bylaw No. 129 being the “Comox Valley Water Conservation Bylaw No. 129, 2010” to the revised bylaw attached as Appendix A to this staff report dated May 5, 2023; | ||||||
