COMOX VALLEY RECREATION COMMISSION

Civic Room, located at 770 Harmston Avenue, Courtenay, BC commencing at 1:00 pm.

The chair of the committee will preside over the meeting according to the CVRD procedure bylaw. This meeting may include participation by members of the committee via electronic communication.

Julie Keumbehdjian, Welcoming Communities Coalition/Immigrant Welcome Centre, to present information regarding an update on the 2022/2023 Multicultural Swim Series that was undertaken in partnership with Comox Valley Regional District Recreation Department. [Item] 
 
2) LUSH VALLEY FOOD ACTION
 
Carley Vanosch and Maurita Prato, LUSH, to present information and outline requests for:

- A formal partnership agreement with the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) and LUSH Valley, relating to the current activities and expansion of agricultural and educational activities at the CVRD Exhibition Grounds; and
- Access to currently fallow portions of the Stonehenge Farm for agricultural and related educational purposes. [Item] 
 
3) COMOX VALLEY INDOOR MULTI SPORT/TENNIS FACILITY
 
Peter Dutton to present information regarding investing in a Comox Valley indoor multi sport/ tennis facility and a request that staff investigate the feasibility of a Comox Valley indoor multi sport/tennis complex including identifying a suitable location for this facility. [Item]
