Civic Room, 770 Harmston Avenue, Courtenay, BC commencing at 10:00 am.

The chair of the committee will preside over the meeting according to the CVRD procedure bylaw. This meeting may include participation by members of the committee via electronic communication.

This meeting is not meant for general public input. If members of the public wish to speak at a meeting, they should contact the CVRD Legislative Services Department to request to appear as a delegation. Live webcasts and recordings are available at www.comoxvalleyrd.ca/minutes-agendas

In the event of an emergency the public gathering place is the parking lot outside the Civic Room.

Consideration of the addendum will be given regarding Temporary Use Permit Application TUP 1A 25 – 3812/3812A Laurel Drive (Mills).
 
Additionally, the Electoral Areas Services Committee will consider any comments or presentations from adjacent property owners in attendance at the meeting.
 
Recommendation:
 
THAT a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) for a term of three years to permit tourist accommodation use of the property at 3812 & 3812A Laurel Drive, legally described as Lot 8, Section 6A, Nelson District, Plan 24103, be approved;

AND FINALLY THAT the Corporate Officer be authorized to execute the Temporary Use Permit once the applicant has provided a written acknowledgement that the applicant has read, understands, and agrees to the conditions of the permit.

Consideration of the addendum will be given regarding Temporary Use Permit TUP 1C 25 – 4864 Greaves Crescent (Nissen).
 
Additionally, the Electoral Areas Services Committee will consider any comments or presentations from adjacent property owners in attendance at the meeting.
 
Recommendation:
 
THAT Temporary Use Permit TUP 1C 25 (Nissen) for a term of three years to permit tourist accommodation use of a property at 4864 Greaves Crescent, legally described as Lot A, District Lot 109, Comox District, Plan 33240, be approved;

AND FINALLY THAT the Corporate Officer be authorized to execute the Temporary Use Permit once the applicant has provided written acknowledgement that the applicant understands, and agrees to, the conditions of the permit.

Recommendation:
 
THAT Bylaw No. 887, being the “Rural Comox Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 520, 2019, Amendment No. 23” which rezones the property known as Lot 1, Block 29, Comox District, Plan EPP87343, PID 030-971-799 (8757/8761 Oyster River Way) from Country Residential One (CR-1) to Country Residential One Exception Twenty (CR-1- 20) to enable its subdivision into two lots, be forwarded to the Board for consideration of first, second and third readings.
