| ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR | ||||||
| J. Martens, Deputy Corporate Legislative Officer, called the meeting to order and acknowledged that the meeting was being held on the unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation.
J. Martens opened the floor to nominations for the position of Chair for the Comox Valley Recreation Commission. Directors Grant and McCollum were nominated and voting took place by secret ballot. After the ballot counting by J. Martens and J. Warren it was announced that Director McCollum was elected Chair of the Recreation Commission. J. Martens opened the floor to nominations for the position of Vice-Chair for the Comox Valley Recreation Commission. Directors Kerr and Grant were nominated. Director Kerr declined the nomination and as such, Director Grant was declared Vice-Chair by acclamation. | ||||||
