Vice-Chair Grant assumed the role of presiding member as Chair McCollum attended remotely.

Director Arbour was not in attendance when the meeting was called to order.

Grieve: THAT the information presented by Julie Keumbehdjian, Welcoming Communities Coalition/Immigrant Welcome Centre, regarding an update on the 2022/2023 Multicultural Swim Series that was undertaken in partnership with Comox Valley Regional District Recreation Department be received. LUSH VALLEY FOOD ACTION
 
 
E. Grieve/D. Hillian: THAT the information presented by Carley Vanosch and Maurita Prato, LUSH, regarding the following requests be received:

- A formal partnership agreement with the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) and LUSH Valley, relating to the current activities and expansion of agricultural and educational activities at the CVRD Exhibition Grounds; and
- Access to currently fallow portions of the Stonehenge Farm for agricultural and related educational purposes. [Item

D. Hillian/J. Kerr: THAT the sports field study, final report, attached as appendix A to the staff report dated May 18, 2023, be used in alignment with the Comox Valley Recreation Commission’s strategic direction for field infrastructure and improvements.
