| AGRICULTURAL LAND RESERVE (ALR) NON-FARM USE (PLACEMENT OF FILL IN THE ALR) APPLICATION, ALR 3C 21, 3940 PIERCY ROAD (WINNIG) | ||||||
| J. MacLean, Planner II, provided information regarding the memorandum dated January 12, 2022 regarding a non-farm use application ALR 3C 21 for the placement of fill on a property located at 3940 Piercy Road within the Agricultural Land Reserve. | ||||||
| Logan Lapointe, applicant's agent, was in attendance.
Also in attendance were Angela Boss, Regional Agrologist, and Niki Whittaker, Agricultural Coordinator. | ||||||
| R. Poirier/D. Page: THAT the Agricultural Advisory Planning Commission (AAPC) support forwarding the Non-Farm Use application ALR 3C 21, 3940 Piercy Road (Winnig) to the Agricultural Land Commission with the following comment and recommendation:
In the best interest of protecting the integrity of an agriculturally-viable land base, the AAPC recommends allowing this one-time retroactive exemption for this non-farm use on the condition that the applicants level the area affected by the fill dumping for the purposes of enabling a future possible farm use. | ||||||
