REPORTS | | DEVELOPMENT VARIANCE PERMIT - 1402 SEAVIEW ROAD (LEE) |   |

D. Thiessen, Planner, provided an overview of the memorandum dated June 29, 2022 regarding Development Variance Permit – 1402 Seaview Road (Lee) to reduce the front yard setback from 4.5 metres to 3.5 metres for a proposed carport. [Item] |   |

B. Thompson/M. Presley: THAT the Area C Advisory Planning Commission support Development Variance Permit DV 5C 22 – 1402 Seaview Road (Lee) as proposed in the memorandum dated June 29, 2022 for the following reasons:
- the proposed carport is in keeping with the character of the property;
- it is unlikely to cause a direct upset to the neighbours or neighbourhood; and
- sight is not affected as the setback to the structure from the road is approximately 25 feet. |   |
