Chow, Planner II, provided an overview of the memorandum dated August 31, 2022 regarding a Farmland Protection Development Permit DP 26C 22 - 1525 Seaview Road (Harding) to allow for the construction of a single detached dwelling and a small accessory buildings within 30 metres of an agricultural property. G. McClintock/R. Poirier: THAT the Agricultural Advisory Planning Commission support the Farmland Protection Development Permit DP 26C 22 - 1525 Seaview Road (Harding) as proposed in the memorandum dated August 31, 2022 for the following reasons:
- it meets the criteria for agriculture;
- the proposed development does not seem to have an impact on agriculture;
- the proposal shows sufficient vegetation and consideration of house design;
- there are no concerns from the adjacent farmer.
