REPORTS
DEVELOPMENT PERMIT AREA UPDATES (COMOX VALLEY REGIONAL DISTRICT)
 
 
R. Holme, Manager of Long Range Planning and Sustainability, provided follow-up information on the memorandum dated August 24, 2022 regarding proposed updates to four Development Permit Area guidelines, including those for Eagle Nest, Heron Nest, Steep Slopes, and Aquatic and Riparian Habitat development permits. [Item
 
 
B. Thompson/M. Presley: THAT the Area C Advisory Planning Commission support the proposed updates to four Development Permit Area (DPA) guidelines, as outlined in the memorandum dated August 24, 2022, and suggest expanding guidelines for staff, make public awareness available for DPA guidelines and introduce an appeal process;

AND THAT the commission support Temporary Use Permits in all areas.
