THAT the Agricultural Advisory Planning Commission support forwarding the Agricultural Land Reserve Non-Adhering Residential Use (ALR 1C23) - 6049 Headquarters Road (Miller/Thomas/Norwell) application to the Agricultural Land Commission as proposed in the letter dated June 9, 2023 for the following reasons:

- There is no local help available and getting help from outside the area requires accommodation;
- the addition is small;
- the proponents had sited the building to minimize loss of land;
- the proposal would help the new generation of farmers to get going; and
- it would bring an unused farm back into production.
