Chow, Planner II, provided an overview of the letter dated July 25, 2023 regarding a revised zoning amendment proposal (RZ 2C 22) to enable a 20 hectare property located along an unaddressed lot along Forbidden Plateau Road to be subdivided into two lots rather than four lots as previously proposed. [Item] |

K. Keylock/P. Gibson: THAT the Area C Advisory Planning Commission support the rezoning application RZ 2C 22 – Unaddressed lot along Forbidden Plateau Road (Fry / Hnatyshyn / Galbraith- Hamilton) as proposed in the letter dated July 25, 2023 for the following reasons:
- the proposal does not increase the density;
- the owners are supporting the Forbidden Plateau Association advocating for fire control;
- the Area C Advisory Planning Commission encourages staff and the proponents to enter into a community benefit agreement that involves enhanced fire protection. |
