| ALR 5C 22 NON-FARM USE (PLACEMENT OF FILL) APPLICATION – 6721 FARNHAM ROAD (ENNS) | ||||||
| S. Pawluk, Planner II, provided an overview of the letter dated August 22, 2023 regarding a non-farm use application for the placement of fill at 6721 Farnham Road within the Agricultural Land Reserve. [Item] | ||||||

Thompson: THAT the Agricultural Advisory Planning Commission support forwarding the Non-Farm Use application for the placement of fill at 6721 Farnham Road to the Agricultural Land Commission as proposed in the letter dated August 22, 2023 with a recommendation that the fill be investigated for the presence of construction waste material due to multiple neighbours claiming to have observed construction waste in the fill while being deposited on the property. | ||||||

| S. Pawluk, Planner II, provided an overview of the letter dated August 23, 2023 regarding a proposal to construct a 63.0 metre tall self-support telecommunications antenna system tower on a property located at 1351 Larkin Road. [Item] | ||||||

| B. Thompson/H. Argen: THAT the Agricultural Advisory Planning Commission (AAPC) support proceeding with the process for the construction of a 63.0 metre tall self-support telecommunications antenna system tower on a property located at 1351 Larkin Road as the proposal will not have a detrimental impact on agricultural land;
AND FURTHER THAT the AAPC recommend that the applicant hold an in-person public meeting as per the Comox Valley Regional District Board Policy No. 89 (Telecommunication Antenna System Application and Consultation Process Policy). | ||||||
