| TEMPORARY USE PERMIT APPLICATION TUP 1B 24 – 122 & 124 STAFFORD STREET - (BEAUDOIN/ GUILLO) | ||||||
| S. Pawluk, Planner II, provided an overview of the report dated June 19, 2024 regarding Temporary Use Permit TUP 1B 24 – 122 & 124 Stafford Street (Beaudoin/ Guillo) to enable the use of the subject property for a tourist accommodation. [Item] | ||||||

| A. Gibson/R. Esterer: THAT the Area B Advisory Planning Commission support the Temporary Use Permit TUP 1B 24 – 122 & 124 Stafford Street (Beaudoin/ Guillo) as presented in the report dated June 19, 2024 for the following reasons:
- The commission appreciates that the applicant wishes to resolve their current non-compliant use of the short-term rental; - Commission members are sympathetic to the problem of housing, and impact of short term rentals; and -This short-term rental business has been in place and have been part of the Goose Spit neighbourhood for fourteen years. | ||||||
